perfect

chestnut (onemorehandbag) In my opinion, chestnuts are probably the most perfectly (I know that "perfect" cannot actually be quantified, but never mind) formed objects right after eggs. Smooth texture, beautiful warm shades of brown ... marvellously *autumnal*. I pick one up almost every morning on my way to work, feeling its sleek, cool surface in my pocket.
Lunch-break purchase: A 1 GB USB memory stick (special offer of the day at Niedermeyer) as I seem to have misplaced my old (128 MB) one.

Finally. Wechselträger Geräte!

p.s.: Peach might be evolutionary even closer to perfection, for it's sexier!

Ok, ok, peaches and melons are perfect, too. I prefer nectarines to peaches, though.
Yes, I have switched to Beta, how did you notice? Let me guess, because it says "labels" under the last post? I've been too afraid to experiment with the template though so far...

Alcssa: i could agree with your husband, but being oversize, i'd stick to peaches :)

Tomaz, the USB stick is called PowerRAM. I quote from the package: "USB2-Stick, 1 GB, Plug and Play, (...) read 9MB/sec, write 3MB/sec" For € 19,90 I'm not complaining and you can even protect it with a password...

@ Alcessa: I don't know whether it is actually better, I guess I was just curious and wanted to try it out. The only difference is that it takes you longer to log in as you need to type in the whole e-mail address. I guess it just looks a bit more "modern" and user-friendly.
@ Tomaz: Don't be sad and if it's any comfort to you - it didn't come with a neckholder or anything. This is almost Freudian: "USB-envy". A bit like penis-envy...
