Fog Off!

On Sunday, the PP's sis and I went skiing and as usual our choice proved lucky. Fog and grey skies in Vienna and basically the rest of "the valley" - brilliant sunshine on Unterberg. Yay! And despite our fear our extremities would freeze off, it was warm enough for a bit of àpres ski in the sun. I've posted about the retro feel of this tiny ski "resort" before, but I haven't shown you the day pass which more than illustrates the retro-ness:

It's hard to get lost on the slopes...

The view was postcard-perfect!

... and the snow all natural:
Slopes are short and not very challenging at all, but it's a treat to be able to ski without having to watch out for millions of other people and to be able to feel like the most elegant downhill racer in the whole wide world. Plus genuine snow has become a rare feature.
