Long-lasting

Ever the practical-minded girl, the Mermaid told the florist she wanted flowers that lasted a long time. She surely got value for money, and so did I. I got the bouquet for my birthday exactly 3 weeks ago and this is what they looked like this morning:

Quite impressive, no? I'm thinking of transferring the "pineapple" to a pot when the buttercups have died. Arguably, roses may be more romantic, but the staying power of buttercups is way better.
