The Contraceptive Effect of German Film Titles

Last night I went to see a film which is unfortunately called Männer al Dente  ("men al dente") in German and - not really fortunate, either - Loose Cannons in English. As so often is the case with those horribly unimaginative and pseudo-funny German titles my expectations were accordingly low and I thought, "ah well, light summer entertainment". Yes, it IS a comedy, but a really original, sophisticated one. I hadn't known that the director is the same one that directed Harem, a film I really loved. So: go, see!
