Under the benevolent glow of street lights even the Gürtel looks rather exciting and impressively urban from the vantage point of the café on top of the main library building where I met Novala* last night:

Speaking of lights: On my daily lunch-break prowls I've been watching the progress of the mounting of this year's Christmas decoration in the pedestrian zones. By the looks of it, we're going to have a revival of last year's chandeliers and fairy light curtains.
